A while back ..on Prim Sisters Talk Radio . I showed everyone how to make a Primitive ATC Floral Card. Today I am going
to show you on A Time for Primitives ...How to make another ATC Card and this one is for fall.

So please bear with me... In Prim Sister's Talk Radio June / July Gazette Issue ...I did an article on the Big & Little about
(ATC)Artist Trading Cards & - ( ACEO) Art Cards Editions Originals. This is such a fun art and craft to do...everyone does
not paint or do clay ...but most of us scrapbook...if not we do love to use the acid scrapbook paper. Well what I have done
here is to show you how to make a Altered Art ATC Card.

Using Acid Paper I call it a
"Trash Scrap Doodle Pumpkin ATC / ACEO Card". I've been asked...what can I use your doodle for? Well just about
anything, Make some hang tags, a rug, paint them, make ornies, use them to make graphics, or make a ATC Card like this
one. This ATC Card will be easy, fun, & inexpensive . The supplies you will need will be just a few things I sure you already
have on hand. Or you can always improvise... If you would like! Supplies needed will be

#1. My Doodle ATC / ACEO Pattern - that I have created for you ( Down Load it for Free here on A Time for Primitives) You
will also need #2. 140 lb watercolor paper or scrap card board #3. Creative Paper Clay ( Or some scrap fabric) #4. Acylic
Paints - ( Only 3 colors ) Dark Forest Green or Leaf green, Chocolate Cherry #5. Aleene's Easy Flow Tacky Glue or Elmer
School Glue sticks #6. Paper Wire (Cut 1" piece and bend to shape) #7. Mini alphabet stamper set #8. Krylon Matte Spray
Sealer- #9. Acid Free Paper scraps - #10. Quick Grab Glue- ( for extra fast hold) # 11. Jo Ann's Essentials Clear bubbles
shape for Scrapbooking # 12. Use a light box ( to transfer the doodle pattern to the acid paper) If you do not have a light
box... just hold it up to a light bulb and trace the doodle pattern gently #13. Scissors #14. Tiny Paint brush , I use a Craft
Smart by Royal #4 (for dry brushing or distressing and painting the leaf

Supplies I gathered for the Making of the Card
Ok this is how you make and assemble the card.... Take a very small amount of paper clay and make the leaf using the
doodle pattern ( make it very thin) and same size and shape as on the paper then remove it off the pattern and smooth it
with a little water on top. After it is dry paint it with forest green or leaf green paint. ( If you do not have paper clay...use a
piece scrap fabric) Then dry brush or distress the edges of the leaf lightly. ( Clay ony) Use the Chocolate Cherry paint for
the distressing, by removing alot of paint from brush and dry brushing the edges of pumpkin paper or you may have
Distress ink you can use that if you wish. Let the painted clay dry a few more minutes...Then Spray the clay with matte
sealer.

Now while this is drying. Download the Doodle pattern here

Using the doodle pattern , Cut out 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" watercolor paper backing or if you are using a piece of cardboard to
make a backing cut it in the same size. (this is your basic card). Then cut out the same size in the Acid paper background.
( I used a Midnight Diamond pattern for mine) But you can use whatever you wish. Now glue the background acid paper
to the watercolor paper or cardboard using the tacky glue. Remember the watercolor paper or cardboard is the back. So
you have a place to sign you work. Now let the glue dry a few more minutes. Then distress around the edge of the card.
And while this is drying..., bend and paint the stem wire with ( chocolate cherry paint), let that dry.

Now use the light box ... Trace the pattern of the pumpkin on to (3) 3 " x 3 " size scrap ( I used a paper with a pattern in it
to make the pumpkin stand out. Now distress long the lines on the pumpkin and then carefully cut it out, into 3 sections.
After all 3 pieces are cut out... Wad each piece up like trash, with you hand , leave them in a ball for a few minutes, then
re-open, gently you want the crumbled look. Careful not to tear them. Now glue down the pumkin sections ( start with the
center) leaving a slight crack between each piece onto the card, make sure to start at the bottom edge of the card. Now
stamp your word on a tiny piece of acid paper,

I used THANKS) use a different color than the pumpkin to add contrast. Dry brush the edge around the word. , let dry the
cover with the clear bubble. trim and glue to card. Using tacky glue, to glue on the leaf and stem and stamped word
bubble. ( Or I use Quick Grab Glue for fast hold) I have pictures for you to see, of my supplies , and the finished project.

I used Blacks & Oranges and greens for my color scheme. Love to see what you come up with. Well...that's it for now... Oh
brain storm... add some black dots for eyes and nose and mouth and this ATC Card can be made into a JACKO...very
easily. Told you it was easy and inexpensive... and fun! Trash Scrap Pumpkin Doodle ATC / ACEO Card... Well folks....
Watch for my next project here on A Time for Primitives Using another one of my whimsical doodles. "From my drawing
board to you"... Hope you like using my doodles and see how helpful and fun and easy to use they are.

Have fun!
